Marc A. Wites is an experienced rider and equine attorney who brings a lifetime of horse experience to his law practice. Marc’s equine experience as a rider includes training and showing in dressage, cross-country, and jumping, as well as fox hunting and trail riding. Marc also has bought and sold his own horses, including international purchases and sales.
It is from this practical background that Marc works as an attorney representing equine professionals and participants. Marc is an accomplished lawyer. He has worked on equine matters since 1994, ranging from the purchase and sale of horses from the Olympic to the hobbyist level, equine related litigation over sales contracts and injuries, and immigration matters.
Marc is the author of The Florida Litigation Guide and Florida Causes of Action. He graduated from The University of Florida College of Law, where he was on the Florida Law Review, and earned his undergraduate degree in business from The University of Michigan. Marc’s equine law articles have been published in The Florida Bar Journal and The Chronical of the Horse.
