ATTORNEY

ARIEL D. SOFRO

Ariel D. Sofro represents plaintiffs and their families in personal injury and wrongful death actions and property damage disputes.

Ariel graduated Cum Laude from the University of Florida with a Bachelor of the Arts in Political Science and a minor in Business Administration. Ariel subsequently earned her Juris Doctor degree at Florida State University, where she was a member of the nationally recognized Moot Court Team and competed in numerous national advocacy competitions.

Before representing homeowners and injured parties at Wites & Rogers, Ariel represented physicians and health care facilities in medical malpractice litigation from the inception of litigation through trials and appeals. She has over ten years of experience drafting pleadings, performing discovery, conducting depositions, arguing motions, negotiating multimillion-dollar settlements, and acting as lead counsel in trials. Ariel also worked with the Office of the State Attorney in the Seventeenth Judicial Circuit in Florida as a criminal prosecutor, where she tried countless misdemeanor and felony trials.

Ariel’s many years of experience as an attorney give her a unique perspective at Wites & Rogers; she understands the challenges and demands of litigation and is able to vigorously negotiate and advocate for her clients.

In her free time, Ariel enjoys DIY home decorating projects, cooking, traveling, and, above all, spending time with her husband and two young sons.
